Welcome to the creative home of my African wildlife photography!

I am an African wildlife photographer who also takes landscape photos from Pretoria, South Africa. I live amid the unparalleled natural beauty of Southern Africa and its iconic and diverse wildlife and landscapes.

I admire our natural world. Wildlife and landscape photography is more than just taking photos – it is about presence in a specific place at a specific time. It is about witnessing and sharing the splendour of our natural world with admiration and respect, underscoring the integral and critical role of conservation.

The ultimate destination of a photo is a print. I aim to capture photos that can produce high quality fine art prints.

They were young, brave, and ready to take on the world, or at least the large Rooiputs pride with its two dominant black-maned males. The coalition of three younger males was fearless, but at the end of the day they were overwhelmed by the strength and experience of the two dominant males of the pride they wanted to conquer…
